June 2020: After a HONY post shed light on the issue of visa dreamers all of the co-founders connected through a group chat
July 28th, 2020: Officially rebranded the Facebook group as “The Hidden Dream”
August 2020: The Hidden Dream’s website and social media pages launched
August 11, 2020: Launched our scholarship
October 19th, 2020: Raised $3000 in our first friends and family round and awarded the first scholarship!
March 10th, 2021: Launched the THD Survival Guide
July 2021: Officially Fiscally Sponsored by Hackplus+
July 28th, 2021: 1 year anniversary
EOY 2021 highlights: We raised over $10,000 this year, have over 500+ visa dreamers in our slack, over 2,500 Instagram followers, and over 700 Twitter followers. We also just launched our TikTok account!
